To foster an early appreciation for and immersion in the atmosphere of Chinese culture, the school organized a "Gongs and Drums Celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival" event for children across all grade levels, marking the traditional Dragon Boat Festival.
The day's activities included making stylized dragon boat models, dragon boat races, hands-on *zongzi* (sticky rice dumpling) wrapping, and crafting fragrant sachets.
Children at all levels thoroughly enjoyed the experience; through these activities, they deepened their understanding of the origins and traditional customs of the Dragon Boat Festival and broadened their knowledge of Chinese culture, thereby strengthening their sense of national identity and fostering a sense of belonging to the country.
