Dong dong dong dong ceng! The Year of the Horse has arrived, and the school arranged "Golden Horse Welcomes the Spring" for the children to experience traditional Chinese cultural celebrations together and feel the joyful Lunar New Year atmosphere!
Lunar New Year is one of our country's traditional festivals, filled with joy and anticipation! Dressed in traditional Chinese attire, the children exchanged spring couplets (Fai Chun) with their classmates to send mutual blessings. They also formed a Golden Dragon and Lion Dance Troupe to perform New Year greetings for the neighbors, sharing their warm wishes with the community!
The children also tasted traditional Lunar New Year food together, such as turnip cake (Lo Pak Go), and personally packed New Year treats—like smiling sesame balls (Xiao Kou Zao), crispy fried dumplings (Yau Gok), and candies—into festive gift packages to send abundant blessings to their parents!
A year's plan starts in spring. The children have already made their Year of the Horse wishes, wishing everyone good health, academic progress, and promising to be good children who honor and respect their parents!
