Chinese Culture Day

Chinese culture is broad, profound, and has a long, rich history. Dressed in various styles of traditional Chinese attire, the children returned to school to participate in the colorful and diverse "Chinese Culture Day" activities.

On that day, the children experienced using different traditional materials to create products rich in Chinese cultural characteristics, such as making sachet bags, creating Chinese medicine art, and tie-dyeing. Through these, they experienced the relevant crafting techniques as well as the joy of creation. In addition, the children enjoyed Cantonese opera performances, where the performers introduced the origins of Cantonese opera and arranged interactive sessions on the spot. Children had the opportunity to try handling tasseled spears and horsewhips, and felt the charm of Chinese opera through vocal styles, character roles, and colorful costumes!

The sachima and walnut cookies we often eat turn out to be traditional Chinese nostalgic snacks!

On that day, besides savoring the delicious food attentively with their taste buds, the children's interest in learning about traditional Chinese food culture was also sparked!
